Biography

A veteran competitor with deep Oregon racing roots, this Lake Oswego desert racer has established himself as a formidable force in SCORE International competition. His career reached a significant milestone at the legendary 2017 SCORE Baja 1000, where he secured a hard-earned second place finish in the Baja Challenge class as part of the BC2 team. Running alongside co-drivers Nathan Smith, Jesse Nemec, Chris Evans, Darryl Becker, and Don Kennedy, the crew navigated the grueling 1,000-mile Baja peninsula course in their Subaru-powered machine, finishing with a time of 36:45:51.

The 2017 Baja 1000 marked the 50th anniversary of the iconic race, drawing one of the largest Baja Challenge fields in recent history with 12 teams and nearly 80 participants from around the world. Remarkably, the Baja Challenge class maintained its perfect safety record with a 100-percent finishing rate, testament to both the organization and skill of the competitors. His podium performance placed him among the top finishers in this prestigious class, demonstrating the consistency and endurance required to excel in desert racing's most demanding events.
