From his base in Hermitage, Tennessee, this desert racing veteran has carved out an impressive legacy in SCORE competition, highlighted by his triumphant 2017 Baja 1000 championship in the Baja Challenge class. Finch's remarkable victory came during the prestigious 50th anniversary running of the legendary peninsula race, where he piloted the BC1 Subaru-powered Baja touring car to an commanding performance alongside co-drivers Bill Weber, Bob Bower, Lance Clifford, Kyle Tucker, Lawrence McRae, and Brad Lovell.

The team's winning effort showcased both speed and consistency, completing the grueling 1,134-mile course with an average speed of 36.40 mph and finishing in the top 63 percent of all competitors across all classes. Their victory helped maintain the Baja Challenge class's remarkable 100-percent finishing rate, demonstrating the series' emphasis on both competition and safety.

According to SCORE's official championship records, Finch has earned three Baja 1000 victories spanning from 2013 to 2017, establishing himself among the sport's accomplished multi-time winners.
