His championship pedigree was established with an overall victory at the 2018 Lucerna SCORE 22nd Desert Challenge, competing in the Class 1300 division. This breakthrough win highlighted his ability to compete at the highest levels of SCORE competition against international fields featuring entries from over 30 countries.

At the start of the 2nd SCORE Baja 400 Presented by VP Racing Fuels, it was Christopher Polvoorde who qualified for the first starting position followed by Jason McNeil. With 26 starters in this class, the competition was tough enough, so a good starting position helped anyone who started in the top five.
