The 2017 Baja 1000 run exemplified his endurance racing expertise, as the six-man crew battled through 1,000 miles of Baja's punishing terrain over more than 42 hours of racing. Joining forces with seasoned campaigners including Rolando Sarmiento and the trio of Bobbys—Shielly, Chalfa, and Oliman—he helped pilot their F-150 to the podium in one of the most competitive Class 8 fields in recent memory.
