Building on decades of desert racing excellence, Scott McIntosh continues to showcase elite-level performance in SCORE's most challenging events well into his sixties. The 65-year-old Michigan native claimed the Pro Moto 60 class championship at the 2021 SCORE Baja 500, demonstrating his mastery of the punishing Ensenada desert terrain at 542 miles of brutal competition.
McIntosh's consistency at the sport's pinnacle is remarkable, earning back-to-back second-place podium finishes in the legendary SCORE Baja 1000 in both 2022 and 2023. He added another podium performance with a runner-up finish at the 2023 SCORE Baja 500, proving his ability to compete at the highest levels against international competition.
The veteran racer's experience navigating Baja's treacherous landscape spans multiple decades, with documented finishes dating back to 2018 where he completed the grueling 542-mile Baja 500 course. Racing primarily Honda CRF450X machines, McIntosh has built a reputation for reliability and strategic racing in events where mechanical failures and crashes eliminate the majority of competitors.
His sustained success in SCORE's Pro Moto divisions represents one of desert racing's most impressive late-career achievements, proving that experience and tactical precision can triumph over youth in motorsport's most demanding environment.

Our teams rst race was the 2016 SCORE San Felipe 250, and we nished. That felt good. In 2017, we did the SCORE Baja 1000 and that went pretty well, even though we blew the motor late in the race and had to push the bike across the nish line. Read More
