Biography

Dominating SCORE desert racing's Class 3 division with an impressive three-year championship streak, this veteran competitor claimed consecutive Baja 1000 victories in 2017, 2018, and 2019, establishing himself as the undisputed king of short-wheelbase 4x4 racing. Operating from California's Eastern Sierra, he has built one of the most successful partnerships in desert racing history alongside brother Ken Moss, piloting their legendary Ford Bronco to remarkable heights.

The Moss racing legacy spans over two decades of excellence, with an astounding 13 Baja 1000 class victories since 2000 all achieved in the same trusty Bronco. Their consistency extends beyond the 1000-mile classic, earning recognition among SCORE's elite with nine Baja 500 victories and 12 total Baja 1000 class wins through 2017. During the historic 50th Baja 1000, they celebrated their 50th career class victory, cementing their status as one of the longest-running and most successful teams in the event's storied history.

Known for their methodical approach and mechanical reliability, the team has proven that consistency and preparation triumph over raw speed, making them perennial championship contenders in desert racing's most demanding arena.
