For SCORE’s Pro UTV racers, the course before Hurricane Kay hit the area was much different than it was on race day. While the rain had stopped about a week before the start of the 3rd SCORE Baja 400 Presented by VP Racing Fuels, sections had been washed out or became muddy. Moto and Quad classes simply went around certain muddy areas, and the SCORE Trophy Trucks and Buggies simply had enough power and tire to blast right through them. Less than half of the competitors in the SCORE Pro Stock UTV class finished the race. Among them, Anibal Lopez in the No. 3919 Polaris Turbo S got through it all and finished first in class. He shared driving duties with Francisco Lopez and Daniel Gonzalez. Read More
The Pro UTV N/A class had 2021 Champion Kaden Wells seemingly ready for another victory. But the brutal San Felipe course had other plans. Wells started first and took an early lead, but their vehicle had problems that allowed second-place starter Joe Bolton to pass and ultimately take the win. The father and son team of Joe and Austin Bolton in the No. 1957 Polaris RZR XP1000 also had some issues, but they managed to keep their position to finish first. Read More
