Making his mark in the elite ranks of SCORE Trophy Truck competition, this 37-year-old Florida native has established himself as a formidable force in Baja's most challenging terrain. His breakthrough moment came at the 2021 SCORE Baja 500, where he claimed a hard-fought second place class finish, demonstrating the skill and determination that defines championship-caliber desert racing.
Operating from Winter Garden, Florida, Stavron brings a unique perspective to the predominantly West Coast-dominated sport, proving that dedication and talent transcend geographical boundaries. His versatility shines through his involvement across multiple disciplines within SCORE competition, having served as a key team member in Pro Moto 30 campaigns alongside accomplished riders like Jano Montoya, contributing to championship-winning efforts in the grueling desert classics.
The technical demands of SCORE racing require more than just speed—they demand strategic thinking, mechanical aptitude, and the mental fortitude to overcome the inevitable setbacks that define Baja competition. Stavron's consistent presence in the sport's most prestigious events, including the legendary Baja 1000 and Baja 500, showcases his commitment to competing at the highest level against some of off-road racing's most decorated champions.
James Justin Shultz took the No.308x Pro Moto 30 team to the team’s first win this season. The team's Rider of Record was Greg Bardonnex who led the team to a second-place finish in San Felipe. In this race, the 308x team had co-riders Ryan Liebelt, Jason Parsons, Chane Shorno and Morgan Crawford put in a stellar effort for the team. "The course was good. Most of it was the same old trails as usual, but they used a couple of new ones that hadn’t been used in years," said Crawford. "We got to go 100 miles an hour down a road for like nine miles straight, and that was fun. We’re in for the championships until the SCORE Baja 1000, so we’re definitely coming back for the SCORE Baja 400– and hopefully with the same guys." Read More
