As the competition gets tougher in the SCORE Pro UTV Classes, it became
more difficult for any one team to make it to the podium at each of the
four SCORE races this season. While a few racers remained somewhat
consistent by getting on the podium in every race, it all got shaken up at the
55th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts, when more
competition entered for this one race, and the tough course dealt a blow to some

For SCORE’s Pro UTV racers, the course before Hurricane Kay hit the area was much different than it was on race day. While the rain had stopped about a week before the start of the 3rd SCORE Baja 400 Presented by VP Racing Fuels, sections had been washed out or became muddy. Moto and Quad classes simply went around certain muddy areas, and the SCORE Trophy Trucks and Buggies simply had enough power and tire to blast right through them. Once all of the UTV classes left the starting line, they never thought they would be caught up in one of the worst bottlenecks so far in this season. Moto teams came out in full force to take on the 54th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts.
