he 58th SCORE Baja 500 will have several top teams racing the Gen 2 Mason Motorsports All Wheel Drive Trophy Truck. Bryce Menzies introduced his in mid-April showcasing a new paint scheme and sponsor logos. According to Neil Mason the Gen-2 models have a three-piece machined lower control arm with an integrated 4340 steel center section, sandwiched with front and rear 70- 75 aluminum legs. “This gives added weight savings and strength,” said Mason. “Overall, we have increased balance and gained an additional 1-inch of front suspension travel while keeping the driveline at optimal angles to reduce wear and tear over long races.”
